    Is there a "dash number" next to that 60 like 60-3 or 60-4? That would help me find the year for you.

    Probably 1984. Found AEC and AEF prefixes in 1984 so I would guess yours shipped in there somewhere

    This is where the info is lacking. My info lists 1962-295000 and then 1969-786544
    The range is not quite that large, the M36-1 was issued in 1967 so your gun can be from 1963 to 1966.
    If your gun has a standard thumb piece instead of the older flat piece your M36 is from 1966. If you have a flat one it's probably from 1965. Sorry I can't give you a solid date but it's not that bad.

    It has a recessed cylinder but the barrel is not pinned
