Here goes fellas. I just got my a Ruger 22/45, brought it home, disassembled it and began putting it back together. This is when I encountered a problem. I fit the mainspring housing into place and tried to pull the bolt to check function. The bolt would only pull back about halfway so I tried to remove the mainspring housing and see what I screwed up. Now the mainspring housing won't come back out.:banghead: What should I do now??? I have checked out Bullseye's page and I'm still unable to fix it. Should I try to pry the mainspring housing out with a screwdriver (doesn't sound very smart, but I have no idea)? Take it to a gunsmith? Please fellas, help me fix this thing so I can take 'er to the range and shoot the hell out of it on Monday!!
