It appears that kcshootingmasters.com is down.

Anyone here shoot the IDPA matches at The Bullet Hole in Kansas?

I'm curious about when the next set of matches are. For that matter, when is the next Qualifer?

Been trying to get down there and start shooting for about 2 years now. Work schedule has finally come around to allow me time to shoot it.

Used to be IDPA affiliated, but the main member, lost interest in it, and dropped. Haven't had anyone here interested in taking up the riens, and I don't have the time to organize it. Shoot a lot of stuff like it though.

That's a bummer, is that why the website is down?

I would gladly help out, now that my schedule allows. I've RO'ed lots of Pin Matches, and a couple casual combat type matches.

Well, I was planning on going there anyways this weekend to do some shooting, I'll ask around while I'm there. I'm just itching to shoot something 'Under the Clock'.

I don't know about IDPA, but Mill Creek Rifle and Pistol Club, in DeSoto, has Pin Shooting Matches every Wednesday, year round.

I don't get to shoot with them often, but right after Easter, I'll be starting up again.

Darn, Y'all got a lot of lead flying around KC. I grew up there in Wyandotte County. I'd almost consider moving back except that I've gotten real used to Concealed Carry.
I'll be there in late July (ouch) for a family visit. I'll bring my shootin gear and make a day of it. Is the Sunflower Munitions plant still open?

Last part first: The Sunflower Munnitions plant closed a few years back and I'm not sure of the status of their firing range.

On the west side, we've still got Powder Creek and Mill Creek ranges. There've been a number of new ranges open around the area, and at least one of those is in Wyandotte, but I don't know any more about it than that.

You're right about CCW. I can't imagine why that should be so hard to pass in Kansas, but I think it would be easier to pass nude dancing in the streets than CCW.

Man, ain't that the damn truth. The good news is every state that shares a border with us has CCW or is in the process of approving it.
