I'm a bit into Tarantino's Grindhouse production Death Proof... Thing's plumb evil, and much of the first "act" takes place with the personnel involved quaffing a whole bunch of tasty Shiner Bocks... Gonna take a case to Knob Creek next week! It is the absotively perfect beverage for after you've got the boomsticks locked in the box... For any newbies, Shiner's been a long-standing tradition here...

If my van gets out of the shop... sigh... bearings, now maybe rear end...

And in about a week and a half, Rodriguez' Planet Terror hits the DVD racks - That cat likes tonz'a'gunz, and I'm thinking that it's going to be a Bogie's Bunker classic... Has improbable machineguns, -and- ZOMBIES!!!

Just a reminder, folks - if you're gonna be camping at the Creek, look for the Freak Show tent!

I'd take a one-legged girlfriend if:

1. She had an M-16 for a leg (and not prone to mindless rages)
2. She looked something like Rose McGowan.

Bad Rear End

Hey Bogie, After paying a so-called mechanic $2500.00 to put in a used rear end in one of my work vans, I replaced the next two. It really isn't too difficult and I never paid more than $200 for a good used one.

Watched the second half of the flick last night - Had a VERY nice "why I need to carry a gun" thing in it from one of the empowered women... As for the rest of the movie, let's just say that it's a good thing to have a gun and not need it, than to need it, and not have it.

Yeah, if you are ever in Austin you need to eat at Guero's.

That's the mexican food place they are at first, where we get the first glimpse of the Deathproof car there on Congress Avenue....

Excellent food. And more Shiner :)
