... then what handgun do you like so much that you've bought an extra copy (or more) of the exact same gun. And no, this isn't about a second "similar model", but the exact same model and barrel length.

For me, it's a pair of S&W M396 Air Lites (Mountain Lites) in .44 Special:

I'm currently in the process of adding a second Glock 17 Gen3 to my collection. Also, another Ruger Blackhawk 5-1/2" Stainless Convertible in .45 Colt/.45 Auto would be comforting.

    This could get ugly...

There's a few that I've wanted to have a matched pair of. Not to have a spare but to practice shootin' "double-fisted". I just like variety and always end up getting something else.

I had 2 Ruger 5.5" Redhawks. Sold one because I didn't need a backup. Additionally I bought a gun with the proceeds to fill out my battery a little better.

Two Charter Arms On Duty, 38 specials for concealed carry tucked into a custom leather vest, lined leather pockets at 40 degree cant, my version of a New York Reload

Three M57 Yugo Tokarevs, two purchased from J&G here localy, third bought at an estate sale along with a truckload of ammo. First two M57 and almost 4000 rds milsurp ammo under $720 tax included. Estate sale another M57 and just a little over 7000 rds milsurp for $350. I am going to go on a crusade to kill every soda can I can get to come into range. I will never live long enough to shoot that much ammo, but I am going to try to be down to my last magazine before I die.

    S&W K38's.

    I've got a 1957 4-screw K38, a 1972 Model 14-3 and a 1977 factory Single-Action only Model 14-3. They are all 6" versions.

And I recently sold a 1955 5-screw K38 'cause I wouldn't want to have too many of them at once....

If I had an extra $1200 sitting around, I'd pick up another S&W 460V. I love that gun.

Nobody has mentioned Magnum Research BFRs?!!! I only have one so far but I have almost enough saved up to buy a second one. When you start blasting 45-70 ammo out of a revolver, that turns heads at the range!

Gordon, I don't mean to pry, but what are all the things on your enviable combat belt? I see a speed-loader, a couple of edged weapons, and two pistols with fat circular mid-sections. (Just kidding; I know what a revolver is.) I can't think of any blade the size of the larger one - it's petite for a machete and laaaarge for a belt knife.
And what's the thing at far right?

That there is an Alaskan hunting belt. I "combat" with semi autos.
Anyway that is a 1989 S&W 629 Mountain Revolver .44mag 4" and a 629-2 .44 6.5" in Mad Dog Kydex., a speed loader in kydex, a Maxepedition rolly polly dump pouch that can hold a waterbottle or what ever, a flashlight in kydex, a Mad Dog BearCat 5.5"x3/16" skinning utility blade and to act as an over the shoulder strap to support all that crap a Mad Dog Dundee rig with a 9"x 1.25"x 1/4" Rezine which is my favorite "sticking" knife for animals. Actually all up the weight is just over 6 pounds loaded for bear!:)

The lighter above guns are Scandium 296 .44spl 5 shot and a rare 242 .38+p 7 shot with clips so no belt or holster bulk is needed and a Ti. handled 7" D2 Darrel Ralph that is real big and real light, kinda like the 296 !:D
