Hi everybody, been hanging around here for awhile but havn't been posting much. I was wondering if you could have any firearm on your wish list regardless of price what would it be. Right now mine would be the 90 percent original 1939 M70 Winchester in .22 Hornet that has been at the local shop for the last 6 months while I've been laid off.

Iwould want somethign full-auto (just because I don't have one) and man-portable. Lighter than a BAR. Bigger than a subgun. Maybe a full-auto FAL or G3...

If I'm thinking of something I don't have, I'd say a USGI BAR. That's one of very few Class 3 weapons I'd be interested in.

I would like a XM8. The one shown in the video of " shoot out 2004 ". A couple of those 100 round mags. would sweeten the deal.

class 3 would be a mini uzi, with a can. shot one once and it is one ofthe few class threes that i could afford to shoot. (second place a MP5SD)

ex GI a really good H & R M1
Garand

commercial. A really good Winchester M 71 delux or a M 1895 Winchester in .405

Full auto, definitely.

The BAR would probably be one of my first choices too.

Maybe a Thompson.

HK UMP45.

For ultimate practicality, I'd probably have to say an M16 lower. There are any number of calibers and configurations availible just by changing the upper. You could have anything from a full-auto .22LR, a 9mm subgun, the regular .223, to a belt fed upper that looks like a MG42. Also, a "machine gun" is in legal terms a "machine gun", and not a rifle or a pistol, as silly as it sounds. The barrel and overall length restrictions on rifles and stock restrictions on pistols as defined in the rest of the NFA don't apply. You could have a AR15/M16 upper with any short barrel length you wanted, or have it as a full-auto AR pistol, it dosen't have to be re-registered as a SBR or AOW. The only paperwork you have to do is file ammendments with the Treasury for extra calibers it may be converted to.

I happen to have a 1939 Model 70 -- mine's in .30-06, and far from being 90%, shows the honorable scars of almost 70 years of hard hunting -- including at least one African safari.

I hope that Hornet stays there until you're ready to pick it up.

Real select-fire NIB Colt M4 (because I have a right and duty to common military arms being part of the militia)
Kevlar 'n chrome Wild West Guns Alaskan Co-Pilot in .45-70 (because it's a thumping big take-down done right)

Any gun?

Somthing my girlfriend would take a liking too. (so we can go to the range instead of a movie)

ps. Price would be NO object. ;)

A .50 Ma Deuce on a pintle mount with several hundred thousand rounds of linked ammo.

Yee-haw........Molon Labe this bad momma!

I'd like a Chinese SKS.
Not exactly a rarity, is it?
Mine is a nice rifle, but I wouldn't consider it special.

My choice would be 10mm...not interested in a Bren...a few more Deltas maybe...but mostly a 10mm rifle of some kind.

Mine would be an M81A2 Barret. Always wanted a good .50 cal, if price were no object.

In the realm of reality, all I really want now is one of the Spartan Arms double rifles in 45-70. They should be coming out by the end of the year.

Mine would be a Holland & Holland Royal Grade double rifle in .470 Nitro Express. Mmmmm....

Only one choice

Walker Colt owned and used by Capt. Walker. The old saying is "with one of these, I can get all of those" simply by selling it. Not being a collector, I would not want to have possession long, because I don't want showpieces that can't be used. But think of the guns you could buy with the millions that gun would bring.
