Shotgun: Bolt action Browning A-Bolt "Hunter" 12 gauge shotgun like my Dad used to let me shoot.
Pistol: Original Colt M1911
Rifle: Springfield Armory M1A - Standard model

One because of memories, one because of quality and one for accuracy.

:D

This would be my dream collection.

Shotgun: Parker DHE 2 barrel set, 20/16ga, 28" barrels, IC/IM , English grip, Beavertail forearm.

Rifle: Mauser 98, Oberndorf Type A 9.3X62, 22" barrel.

Pistol: Colt Pre-War National Match 1911-A1 .45acp.

Revolver: Colt Python Mfg. June 1958, .357 mag, 6" barrel, Ivory stock, Royal Blue finish.

Just because each to me, represents the pinnacle of firearm excellences. The specific date on the Python is due to the month and year I was born, an excellect date if I say so myself! :D

But for the real world Zombie killing firepower.

Shotgun: Tromix Saiga 12ga (#S17) 8" barrel, 20rd drum.

Rifle: DS Arms SA58 Para Carbine .308NATO, 16" barrel, folding stock.

Pistol: Rogers Percision Combat Commander .45acp with silencer

Revolver: Chiappa Rhino, .357mag, 2" barrel

Ok, I'll play, these games are fun.

Rifle: Springfield M1A scout model with synthetic stock.

Shotgun: Mossberg 590 5 shot model with 18.5 inch barrel with bead sight. I'd change the furniture to wood furniture and cut the stock down one inch. I'd like a 18.5 slug barrel with rifle sights and a longer barrel with multiple chokes.

Handgun: Well, if I can only have one, it's gotta be one I can take anywhere. I'll go with a smith and wesson 640 2 inch with no lock.

Rifle - Pre 64 Model 70 winchester, .30-06
Shot Gun - L.C. Double, 12 ga, 30 inch barrels
Pistol, desert Eagle .50 cal

A5 12gauge for shotgun, 308 for rifle, Ruger mk3 target pistol for pistol cause you can kill small game with it

Remington 870 pump, love mine great for home defense and hunting.

AR15 in .308, good for deer and zombies (these roles are currently played by a Browning A-Bolt in 30-06 and a Ruger Mini 14 in .223 but if I can only have one I'll take the AR)

Browning Buckmark Hunter with a scope and a can, the utility of this setup probably speaks for itself but I imagine it would be the most utilized of the three

Shotgun- Remington 870, super versatile in that it can be used for virtually any game, and be used as a defense weapon just by changing ammo. Plus it's tough as nails, low mainentance, and it just works.
Rifle- M1a, honestly that is what I thought of when I read the thread title before everyone else had listed it. This rifle has plenty of power to tackle most anything one would be likely to encounter. I kind of figured everyone would be saying AR, just not enough power in that round to be my only rifle. I like Aks but their accuracy is lacking for my liking.
Pistol- ah S&W in .44 mag. Why not?

Ask me which one of my kids or grandkids I'd rather have... Some days it's this one, some days it's that one. That sums it up for my firearms.

Mine would be

Pistol-H&K MK. 23 SOCOM, preferably with the can and LAM

Shotgun-Mossberg 500 with a couple of barrels

Rifle-Marlin Model 60SS

Rifle: Remington 700 with custom options in 7mm mag

Shotgun: Any DECENT o/u 20g or 12g

Pistol: .....dunno .22 browning buckmark most likely.

This topic has been raked over the coals many, many times here at THR;
but in accordance with the question asked:

1 Shotgun a Remington 12 gague model 870 Marine Magnum

2. Rifle (black type) Rock River Arms Operator Elite LAR-15
a- (hunting type) Steyr Stainless Mountain Rifle in .25-06

3. Handgun 6" Stainless Smith & Wesson model 686

Shotgun - Mossberg 590A1 12GA
Rifle - Springfield Armory M1 Scout Squad .308
Pistol - Para Ordinance / Springfield / Colt (take your pick) - 1911 .45ACP

One question I like to ask in these "if you can only have one gun" threads is:

Do you own these guns now?

If not, why not?

If these are your "only gun you can have" choices, why don't you already own them?

I own 2 of the three ... the other is explained in the post.

If you could only have three guns...

Reminds of a line from the movie "Evil Roy Slade".

"If you had five apples and your neighbor stole two, what would you have?"

Evil Roy: "A dead neighbor and all five apples."

So, what if I could only have three guns? I'm still going to have all of my guns, and *somebody* is going to be having a very bad day. :)

I'm like clance, I have two different groups of three. For me its hunting or day at the range groups. I currently don't own any of these, but the hunting ones would be upgrades of what I already have.

Hunting:

Browning Maxus 12ga with 30" barrel and 22" rifled barrel
Browning BAR Zenith in 308 Winchester
S&W 22 K-Masterpiece

Day at the range:

Saiga 12 with Bullpup conversion kit & 20rd drum mag
Kel-Tec RFB
FNP 45 Tactical

If....

Remington 870 12 gauge, 28" barrel, remchoke
Ruger GP100, 6"
Savage Model 10 Precision Carbine, .308

Shotgun: Remington Model 870 Wingmaster 12 gauge w/26" barrel
Pistol: Original Colt M1911
Rifle: Springfield Armory M1A - Standard model

I have all 3.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

if only for winged, David McKay Brown SxS

rifle - a nice double gun from either Peter Hofer or Phillipp Ollendorf, preferably with 2 sets of barrels - one small one large

anything "tactical" or plastic need not apply :D
