That’s what it was designed as before anything else.
Already own a tricked out CZ shadow 2 and TSO, so I would probably go with a CZ custom A01LD. Built from the ground up in Arizona.
Bruce Gray does a Long slide conversion on these that is really at another level !
There are a few factory long slides too, but you wont buy one for $3G.....
Those are very nice pistols.
Unlike CZ's pistols, the A01 uses a forged frame. The whole gun just feels like higher quality than anything from CZ.
The Sig P226 Legion 9 which was the first handgun I ever bought in 2015. Just got back from the range with it and I loved it from the first time I held it in my hand.

My Crack dealer had a brand new trade in compact come in, calling it beautiful would be an understatement.
Too bad it wasn't the full size it would have found a new forever home.
If I were to look at Bud's inventory this minute, under $3000 leaves out Wilson Combat 1911 pistols, so what I consider "higher end" is a CZ Shadow 2 or Tactical Sport 2, or SiG Legion series.
Just FYI, there’s no such thing as “SiG.”
Wish I knew the origin of this fairly common error of not capitalizing the “I.” Bugs me much more than it should.

I just bought one of the Shadow 2 pistols in Urban Gray. I will hopefully get to pick it up tomorrow and shoot it on Friday.
