Personally, I would take a 12 ga. shotgun pump shotgun over all else. But, then again, this isnt about me...its about YOU. Given the choice, which firearm would you choose. Remember, this would be your ONLY firearm. I guess this would include either a pistol, a revolver, a rifle or a shotgun. I look forward to the results!

You would have to explain WHY I can only have one firearm before I can choose that firearm.

Depending on the situation, it may be a pellet gun, or it may be a howitzer.

Regardless, the one gun that I would choose would be whichever gun most effectively helps me reclaim my ability to own more than one gun.

I would choose a Saiga .308. Why? Good all-around caliber that can down near everything, decent accuracy, and it's an AK which makes it extremely reliable.

12 gauge for sure. Not my favorite anything, but with it you could hunt anything from mice to moose and it makes a darn fine bear repellent with the right slugs.

AR-15, hands down. Domestic firearm, ammo and parts everwhere, NATO compatable, accurate, vesitile, and will stop a variety of four legged and 2 legged critters.

5" all steel 1911. Well, maybe my bolt action .308.

Just one sucks though. :neener:

12 gauge pump if you hunt, so many ammo options, what can't you hunt with a 12 gauge? If you aren't a hunter I'd go with a m14 or AK depending on what kind of range you want.

There's no such thing as having one firearm. You have to have at least one handgun, one rifle, and one shotgun. In the event I could absolutely only have one firearm, though, it would be a trying time, so I think it would have to be an M249, but even then I would want a sidearm, lol.
