If you lived/live in a 'free state' and you could pick One Fully-Automatic firearm...

Guess I'm a little more practical, I'd go for an M2 Carbine. I like to shoot the big, heavy ammo pigs, but prefer to rent them.

As much as want to say the M2 I just don't think it's practical enough as my one full auto. I would boil it down to AA-12, P90 or UZI. I'm not sure on the price of the AA-12 or P90 so I'll pick the UZI for price of ammo.

I got to shoot one in the Marines and it was my favorite full auto firearm.

M2 carbine and a bunch of magazines and cases of ammo. They sell for well under $20,000 which leaves room for lots of ammo.

The Colt M-4 Carbine is what I would choose as an automatic.
It just rocks the house down.
I like it over the M-16, MP-5 or any other automatic that I have fired.

An Uzi....

I have shot alot of different full auto guns and I like the Uzi the best.......chris3

Loading a bunch of magazines to rock-n-roll sucks. Belt fed is where it's at for me. Barrels get hot really fast too. M249 para with a few extra barrels and a billion rounds is what I'd ask Santa for...

oooo.. that BAR does whisper lovely, and dirty things to me.. but I don't think I could rock n roll an 06 without a backstop.. Unless I'm using the rest of the cash to pay one of you guys to follow me around, and hold me up, I'd be shootin' planes by round 4 haha. If I'm going with an AK variant.. gotta give it to the AN-94.. Just couldn't justify using my "You get only one" pass on a '47, when you can do that with a trip to Dunham's, and a visit to the hardware store;) . But as far as I know (which ain't real far) Russia isn't letting anyone without a name that looks like it's printed on the outside of a wolf ammo box get ahold of the AN-94..:(

First choice- A selective full auto M14 (So I can snipe with it also) (nostalgia from the time I spent in the USMC)
Second choice- 45 Cal "grease" gun (a close second)
Third - AK47 (for durability and dependability)

What reasons, other than price, make various HK series so attractive to military/police forces around the world?
They are very accurate, controllable, and very easy to shoot well with.

They were also basically the first to have guns that were easily adapted for different use.

An MP5 can be used as an up close contact weapon, or seconds later, quickly scoped and making head shots at 100 yards.

I'd pick a 9mm Sterling, suppressed. I have the semi-auto carbine, and it's the most accurate 9mm carbine that I've ever fired..2 3/4 inch rested groups at 100 YARDS (iron sights), something the semi-auto Uzis and HK-94's that I shot did at 50 FEET.

I've never fired a full auto, but a MP5 suppressed has always spiked my intrest, but a full bore M14, that is something that I would love to try.

Add almost any quote from TR, most are timeless.
