If you prefer the first digit to be a 4...

I think your photo collection is worth more than my gun collection! Those are beautiful and highly preferable for me (although I've yet to get a .44 of any sort to date).

I use to have a fine couple of .41 Magnums years ago but sold the Model 57 when money got tight and foolishly traded the Model 58 on something that I don't even have anymore. Would sure love to get either of those two guns back.

Nowadays my taste in the number 4 runs to .45LC and .44 Special.

Very nice Saxon!

The pictures are most excellent as are the guns...you've made a good case for the big bores to be sure.

I was going with the standard production, 4" pinned barrel NT theme.
Sorry about that, mine is a custom made piece. Built before the gun of the month offerings that eventually resulted in the 45 ACP Mountian Revolver.

What is "NT theme"?

3Ts refers to having target stocks, trigger and hammer. A target grade revolver means adjustable sights, but they didn't always come with 3Ts. The Model 27 is an NT gun but came with standard stocks, trigger and hammer until about 1974 when all 27s started being equipped with 3Ts.
