    I'll be there.

We need some way to recognize each other to say "HI"

    Cool.

"More than 1200 people"? It was more than 2000.

I was in the middle of the swarm. The little video clip at centrallillinoisproud.com didn't do it justice. It was the width of the street and I'd guess a block and a half long. At least.

I've got some pics. Maybe tomorrow. It's 11, and I just got home.

Wasn't the office building where most of the reps are kept, the most butt ugly building you have ever seen? Soviet level hideous.

    Let's see if attachments work.....

(If it works, this is the march, from Hilton ballroom to the capitol.)

    Other pics:

Note the Gadsden flag. There were a couple in the parade.

    Governor Rod's empty office.

And a couple pics from the rally in front of the Statehouse. The demographic was mostly older white guys, but not overwhelmingly so. Note the older black gentleman in dreads.

And a pic of us swarming. For a while, there were a lot of us there. Most of the folks that normally inhabit the building didn't seem to want to interact -- just walk through the crowd, didn't make eye contact.

This was truly an inspiring sight...It gave me goose bumps when I took the pictures!
I can't tell you what a joy it is to be around other gun owners...As a whole, they are absolutely the best!
My wife (Valinda Rowe) is one of many that worked Very hard on this project. Also, a tremendous effort by ISRA VP Mike W.
It was better than last year but not as good as it will be next year!!!

Thanks to all that attended and made it a success!

    Mike

Cool! With no name tags or "pseudonym tags", there's no way to know. Might be worth thinking about for next year.

Hey Jim, I was there with my daughter in Rep. Fortner's Office.

I thought that might be you.

    Hi All,
As a former resident of the PRI I want to thank all of you for your hard work. I have quite a few friends behind the lines there.
    Best,

How well did I do at summarizing the ammo serialization silliness to Rep Fortner?

    What I was thinking...

It would be a pleasure, not to mention a much shorter drive. I'm in!

I think a visit to the Cook County board if and when they take up the proposed gun and gun shop bans woudl be the ideal time......

    Another example of media bias...

Our 2500 plus group got zero airtime on Chicago's stations even Fox, but assemble a couple hundred anti war pukes and they get not only face time but audio time to spill their communist agenda.:cuss:
I say lets march on Cook county. Being as how Chicago shares the same building, we get 2 for 1:)
