This is a refreshing change from what we usually hear out of Illinois in the media. The CEO and President of the South Porte Bank wants employees to feel safe, and after the IL carry law was passed the bank allows tellers to carry. And there are signs that say "Protected By Smith & Wesson". Perhaps that certain eatery on North Carolina can learn a thing or to from the CEO of this Marion Illinois bank. http://www.wsiltv.com/news/local/Marion-Bank-Lets-Tellers-Carry-Guns--261174921.html "The bank is currently sitting on very tight surveillance all around the perimeter and inside the bank. And there are signs let intruders know they're packing." And this bank is not the only one in Illinois that allows employees to carry. "The President and CEO of Legions Bank in Eldorado says one of their branches was robbed back in 2000. His employees are also allowed to be armed. And he makes sure all of his workers are trained for life threatening situations. " We need more positive stories like this ....... . .
