That looks a lot different from the shiny, clean ammo in the ad. However, I wouldn't worry too much about tarnished/ discolored ammo. That really shouldn't impair function at all. I shoot ammo with similar type (actually covers more of the round) discoloration in my AR (discolored 1970s South Korean surplus) without problems, even rapid fire. The banged up cases look nasty- I wouldn't want to shoot those rounds. Shame on RGUNS for not putting it in the ad- if they let it be known that this was surplus range pick-up/taken out of mags ammo, that would be one thing. They didn't, however.

I think I'll stick with the American Eagle Tactical XM193 that I can pick up locally for under $8.00 per box...

Surplus ammo??? Looks more like someone emptied out the reject bin boxed it up....than sold it.

Kinda. Arfcom is a bit cruder than here. The technical forums are better than 'general discussion' at any rate.
