No, not the Tire Shop Wrench Kind, I mean the Gun Store Chain.

www.impactguns.com

What is your Experiences with them (Cust service, sales, pricing etc, etc)

Visited the one in Boise (they have an Indoor range on-site btw) today and bought a mag for my glock 22 ($19.99) and 2 IPDA Targets ($0.75 ea), and so far I think they have Overall Good Prices and Service (Targets are a bit expensive though).

(FYI all of the staff I saw were OC'ng)

How about the rest of you?

I find that their prices on guns tend to be higher than I can get them elsewhere. Also, when I called to order a Beaowulf they had listed on their web site, I was told that none were in stock. When I asked if I could place an order for one, they didn't want to do it - and didn't. That was their call, of course, and they lost a sale and all future business from me.

Their website is of a pretty terrible design, and I've heard the internet orders aren't treated with as much priority as their other business, but I've bought several firearms from them at their Ogden location and found they were very helpful and their prices were pretty much normal. I like going to a store that only sells guns and ammo, rather than a "general sporting goods" or pawnshop. In Utah, there are a bunch, but I like Impact the best.

The boise location is OK. I go there now and then. Thier NIB G17s were a really good deal @ $450 for this area. Thier trade policies are a bit lacking. They told me flat out that I should go elsewhere as they only give 50%. I find thier store to be a bit "tacticool" for my tastes. Don't get me wrong, I can have a "mall ninja" side just like everyone else, but Impact seems to deal only with black guns and thier accesories.
