Impractical CCW

Thanks for the info and suggestions. I will keep up the much needed practice with the Kahr CW.40. The Mod. 14 is adjusted to an extremely light trigger pull in DA as well as SA. I'll be looking for an IWB pancake holster for it. Until I get one I'll just use the old Kimber BP Pro .45. I don't like carrying it because I am NOT skinny and it's very uncomfortable. A few of the holsters on the site Tollinar suggested look like they are just what I need for the S&W. Thanks again.

A little late to comment, but yes, a 4" medium-frame revolver is very practical to conceal. I am still on the lookout for the "just right" 4" S&W Model 19 that would be a great sixgun to carry after I retire from policin'.

I toted an even larger N-frame, a Model 58, during much of the last half of the 1980's. It rode in my duty rig on the clock, and was concealed off the clock. During the 1990's, I did the same with a Ruger GP100 and then K-frames. More recently, I have toted a 4" Speed
Six concealed, on occasion, though I usually conceal my current duty pistol, which is a SIG P229.
