Orentlicher (or as I like to call him, rather childishly, Buttlicker) is from a district that also includes the southern portion of Hamilton County. That area used to be solidly Republican, but thanks to redistricting, it now includes enough of Marion County (Indy is in Marion County) to have plenty of the Dem "inner city" votes.

I live in the south western corner of Marion County and everyday on the news I hear more and more reasons to try and get my butt into Morgan or even Owen and farther south. Hell in a handbasket: destination for Marion Co.

Have they done anything to clean up Gary, IN? I rememeber when I lived in the Chicago suburbs that the Governor of IN had to send in the state police to get things cleaned up. Indiana has some really rough areas and some absolutely beautiful places. New Buffalo and Valpraiso are some nice places that I have been to.

Gary cleaned up? Well, we did wrap det cord around a few housing projects and we did send Michael Jackson to California, but Gary is a self-correcting problem. The Good Riddance Factor (GRF) is extremely high in its murder rate.

Sending in ISP was a great idea, but they should have stayed.
