I havent installed the Mojo, but I have installed a bunch of stock and night sights in them.

I always just put the sight in the track, put the muzzle on the floor, and pushed the rear of the sight down and forward. They usually just pop in. Some can be buggers, and you may have to push down over the little "tits" as you do it.

Getting them out can actually be pretty easy if you do it again. I just put the gun across the corner of my workbench, resting on the flat just ahead of the trigger guard. I take a large, medium length flat bladed screwdriver with a piece of duct tape on the tip, and place it in the slot on the sight, right above the little "tits". Push down firmly and towards the rear, and it usually pops right out. Just watch you dont slip and stab yourself.

Fighting with that spring separately will drive you nuts, and usually with less than satisfactory results.

    Its a pain

I installed one on an AK that I had. I should say me and two other guys. We used a flat edge wide screwdriver to hold the spring down. We eventually got it on with only 1 guy getting a pretty good gouge on his finger. Tough to get on, but is a great sight.

if you have a wooden or nylon mallet, it goes real easy. otherwise, you are gonna have to man up, sally!!! I did two of mine, and did the screwdriver thingy, and still managed to punch a hole in one of my fingers. Also, the bad thing about it is, it may not fit exactly right in your rear site trough, since it is made to fit basically every ak made out there. if you twist the elevation screw, all the way up, so that the bottom of the sight rests flat in the site trough, yet it still does not sit down quite flat, then you will need to get out the dremel tool.

Well at least I'm not the only only one. Between my 17 yr old son and I we usually figure things out. Him the figurer and me gettin a bigger hammer. Not this one though. We will carry on. The muzzle on the floor idea has possibilities. Thanks All

Simple method....if you have a drill press, put a 1/16th in drill bit in upside down. Press down on the sight spring and slip in the sight. No muss no fuss and you wont ding up any metal parts.
