Interesting crosswind drift calculator for shotgun pellets.
Some numbers:
tungsten #9, 1.21grains, 22mph, 40yds, 1190fps, 70F: 13inches of drift.
lead #9: 0.75grains, 22mph, 40yds, 1190fps, 70F: 21.7inches of drift.
lead #6, 1.62grains, 22mph, 40yds, 1255fps, 70F: 19inches of drift.
lead #4, 2.58grains, 22mph, 40yds, 1255fps, 70F: 16.7inches of drift.

Very handy, thanks!

I did find out that my #6 lead loads at 1200fps will drop a bit more than I thought at 200 yds, though.

200 15 0.00 5673.0 1303.3 5.421

472.75 Feet! :)

But lots of good info for 40yds & under.

Woof! I’ll tell you, the wind blows here in KS, but I can’t think of more than a few days in my life during which I have done any wingshooting in 22mph winds!! Damned sure not since my teens or 20s!

22 mph winds, just add in some freezing rain and it sounds like great conditions for successful duck hunt...

I was out yesterday solo rabbit hunting. (Got three.) Forecast said 18mph.
