Interesting find! Mauser 7.65 1914

    I came across this neat old gun at my local gun shop today and just had to bring it home, it's a Mauser 1914 chambered in 7.65. The shop was asking $175 for it and I couldn't resist. The gunsmith at the shop said he looked it over and couldn't find anything wrong with it.

    It's not a gun I plan to shoot much, I bought it more as a interesting conversation piece. There was some surface rust on it but I cleaned it off easily with some Flitz. I'm not sure how collectible these guns are, all the numbers match and the bore is excellent but I bought it mainly because I found it interesting.

    Anyway just thought I'd share my find, here are some pics.....

    Nice gun.
    It is worth about twice what you paid for it so, good deal.
