Turret's syndrome. Is that the inability to hear that WWII vets got from working in the 16" gun battleship turrets? Tourrette's maybe? 
I have to disagree with Wolf. It's a free country, dude. I can take your picture without your permission and vice versa. If you're in a public place, you don't have an expectation of privacy that would rise to the level of being free from having one's picture taken. Inside your home; another matter. I would have ignored him. Until he bought cartridges AND a gun, anyway - then walked fast to car, and squealed tires leaving.
