Hello you can call me Jane,

I didn't see a specific forum to post this in so I thought this was just as good a place than any. I am a wife and mother of 2 beautiful girls, one 13 months the other 8. I am going to be 27 on Nov, 6th. I love gun shows and guns among many other things. I shoot rifiles as well as pistols. I have my ccw and I do carry. I am neither democrat or republican, IMHO, they both are just as evil.
I work, take care of the house, kids and Husband. I work in the medical field. I am an autotransfusionist. (meaning I work in the OR with blood) I am a member of a few other "GUN" bbs. I had an intrest in reloading but that has been put on hold for a bit. I am christain. I belive we are in a world of trouble and TSIHF as we speak. I try to educate women on firearms and make them less afraid.
I feel they fear what they do not know. It enragges me to hear moms say they are afraid of ther kids getting the gun and shooting themselfs. or the whole so ans so commited sucide with a gun so I don't like them, it could have just as well been a rope. I can rant about that all day.

So now I have told you a bit about me I hope that you guys/gals will wecome me into the group. I lurk alot but I do post from time to time. I have been a member of one bbs for 4 years but onlt have 400 something post. I hope that I will learn some things as well as contribute to the group.

Hello and welcome. You'll find this is a pretty good forum to hang out. Lost of information and lots of fun. I have found that my knowledge of firearms has grown dramatically since I joined.

    Welcome.

    Good to see you here.

There's a ton of good information to be mined just by searching. That alone can keep you busy for quite a while, but we'd like to hear from you as well.

    Welcome, and well met.

Don't worry about learning new things, you will...

I just learned something on the BP forum the other day, and I've been shooting since I can remember.
    (Yesterday, at least!)

    controversial signature line to follow...

    Good for you!

Both criminals and leftist extremists count on women to be ignorant of firearms and self-defense.

You'll find that this is a very civil board and great place for information about many things...firearms included, usually ;)

    Welcome Jane,

I'm sure you'll fit right in.

Shermacman, your wife just left my place and told me to tell you not to worry, she's known about your girlfriend for awhile. JUST KIDDING! :D

Welcome to the family. We sometimes put the fun in Dysfunctional but most times we are all pretty tame and nice. :D :neener:

Now if you have come to find out which is better .45 or 9mm or are deciding to buy an AK or an AR, you've come to the right place. :D

All jokes aside, welcome it is always nice to add another brain to the group. Enjoy your time here.

Welcome GI Jane. Keep talking to women about guns, the best method is to remain calm and logical. More women shooters = more dead rapists.
