Is everyone braced for the CRIME WAVE on Monday?

I'll be SAFE .

State of AR has "NO CCW" on Campuses .

AND

We have a Sign "NO GUNS" as one pulls onto Campus itself.

Whew! Keeps the Bad Guys away , and everyone knows how easy it is to conceal FBPP/EBRs under a T Shirt , ....heck folks just stick these in textbooks like pencils for bookmarks...ya know?

I figure "if" I can run like hell from where I park and get on Campus - "SAFE". :uhoh: :scrutiny:

What will the antis say when the sky does not fall because of the end of the ban? Hopefully it will become a non-issue after the truth is known!
But will the media tell the truth? Hmmm??

Will they tell the truth? They will report evey shooting, in every town, for any reason, will be the result of the AWB ending.

News Alert! "This just in.......a man was shot with a .38 special revolver (shows picture of Desert Eagle) late last night while trying to break into a residence."

"This just 2 days after the AWB expired." " Obviously this would not have happened if the man had tried to break into the house on Sunday"

darkness

At least we will have a harder time seeing all these crimes with all the flash hiders obscuring the muzzle flash.

WIll we really have to squint?

Or maybe it will justify more spending on thermal vision/FLIR for local PD's?

I am going to be wading out into the flood with a dip net! Scratch that, maybe I'll just run a pound net all the way across the street.

I already attached a few bucktail skirts to some .223, 7.62x39, and 9mm to use with my casting rod. I think I will build some structure, too, so that the big 'uns have a place to hole up in!

Be careful. The first moment of freedom is 12:01 am on TUESDAY. The AWB continues all day on Monday.

We ought to help all those who hoarded hi-cap magazines by going to gunsamerica.com and buying their overpriced wares right now!

there is a counter on the top right of the screen that counts hours:minutes:seoonds

we have a little under 12 hours to go.

Still waiting to hear about these same weapons being "in use" already today...

I mean - its not like you can't buy most of em already - I'm sure the criminal ain't worried about a bayonett... but its conceivable that if he stole a ak from someone elses house that he could buy a 30rd mag for it right now....

oh wait.... thats right they were banned... we can't get those things (/sarcasm off)

J/Tharg!

Me, I'm just going to wait patiently at the foot of my driveway, near the mailbox.

When the evil, evil assault weapons flood the street, I'll snag a few in a net, clean them up, and take them home.

Of course, if they're too little, I throw them back.

And as for the gun bigots, Rex Rider pretty much has it right.

Dan Rather: This just in: Just minutes after the expiration of the AWB, a drug dealer was stabbed today by a dissatisfied customer.

Film clip: bloody screwdriver on sidewalk with chalk outline
Background graphic: M16 with mounted bayo (aka the crappiest spear design of all time)

California ain't gonna get left out.

If the ban expires and is not IMMEDIATELY followed by another, it will make it far harder for our anti-liberty traitors in OUR legislature to convince the girly-men to support NEW repressive laws.

And as a side benefit, just the apoplexy that hits Dianne may raise her blood pressure enough to drive her to the streets for a shooting spree.

She is my (ugh) senator. I have my neighbors to thank for her.

I don't know how the rotten ***t gets re-elected.

Unless dogs can vote and they see a kindred face in that bulldog mug.

:D

Watch for pandemic levels of "spray-firing" from the hip as terrorists, inner city gang members (i.e., gasp! negros) and "psychotic gun nuts" load up on these "rapid-fire" semi-automatic "assault weapons" with their "enhancements" that increase their "high powered" lethality.

It's truly sickening, nobody needs these weapons that are "designed only to kill people", these AK-47's, uzis, tech 9's, and Smith & Wesson .50 caliber assault revolvers (actual phraseology from a Chicago City Alderman) to hunt with.

The assault weapons ban has decreased the use of these assault weapons: "the same type of weapons used to kill children" (actual phrase used by CA Atty. Gen. Lockyer) in street crimes by 40.6532% over the past 10 years and renewal of this "common sense" piece of gun safety legislation is supported by 68.23416% of the American people according to a Phew research poll.

Now I need a shower.

Crooks will now be able to get PISTOL GRIPS which make guns far far far far far more DEADLY.

Think how deadly it would be if there were pistols attached to those grips!:D

I plan to drive the pickup with trailer and pick up all the discarded 10 rd mags that people toss away as they walk out with new ones. (after they shoot the rounds wildly into the air of course) Heck if you are going to make up stories might as well have fun.

I'm going to pull the boat out of the water and install armor plate. That way I can still get to work by navigating the rivers of blood in the streets AND I'll be protected from all the "spray fire".

Maybe John sKerry could command a swift boat through the rivers of blood and get a few more purple hearts before the election :)

"Maybe John sKerry could command a swift boat through the rivers of blood and get a few more purple hearts before the election"

he could do that while shaving and write 3 citations for each

(sarcasm mode on....) I'm glad I can finally buy a gun with a grenade launcher attached to it. After all, if they said it was possible on CNN then it must be legal, right? And I'll just bet that Wal-mart will start selling grenades, too.;)

Stupid media. If they can't even do due diligence on something as simple as firearms how the heck can we trust *anything* they say on more complex issues?

:banghead:

I have a bunch of sandbags left over from huricane frances. That should keep the flood at bay. I'll use a net to snag a few of the more interesting ones.

Saw Kerry on the news today and by the words he was saying, he'll definitely do some sort of ban if he gets in office.:uhoh:
