Fox with mange?

Coyote pup, there was a pack of them where I deer hunt. My buddy saw momma but didn’t want to waste an arrow on it. I shot that one with a 22 pistol.

I dont think it would have made it through the night let alone first frost. It could barely run and was bleeding from its sores. Not sure what happened to the rest.

Ya did the right thing. That's gotta be terrible them to deal with (pests or not). I'm surprised your photo hasn't popped up on the internet as the next mystery monster (no offense to the op op ended) . Most pics including the ops seem to be taken out of context and provide a misleading image that can usually be explained in rational terms.

Most of my friends that didn’t hunt had no idea what it was. I tell people I dont either and it might be el chupo!!

Every two to four years or so, the San Antonio Express runs an article about a Chupacabra. This excites the true believers among the Latino population and sells papers. Finally, after some days/weeks, a wildlife biologist reports that it's just another case of extreme mange on a coyote. Rinse and repeat, decade after decade.

A couple of years ago I watched a documentary on a party out to catch a Chupacabra. They had sound detecting devices, FLIR, drones, and a couple of Cupacabra experts (not all that easy to find these days). They set out live traps and trail cameras everywhere. I spent an hour watching this and when it was all said and done the Chupacabra crew had managed to catch one scruffy opossum in a live trap.

An hour of my life forever lost.

NO!
Those are a pair of the dinosaurs (actually baby tricerotops) on the endangered species list which Mr Donald Trump Jr. was documented as shooting one of, last year.

Well, I did like the girl in the yellow bikini that walked through the shot and the last interviewee.
