    Hi,

Been looking at the Ken Null SMZ shoulder holster. It appears to be a nice set up.

A loaded S&W Mod. 649 snubby weighs in at about 2 lbs. Is it too heavy for the Null SMZ?

    Thanks.

    Mick53,
An empty 649 weighs 23 oz. I doubt if 5 rounds of .357 mag is going to weigh more than 4 oz. This size gun is what the SMZ was designed for. Call or write Ken for the definitive answer.

The weight of the gun is not going to overstress the holster's retention or support, if that is what you were asking.
