Is there any such thing as a health club with an indoor range attached?

As I was at the gym working on my admittedly sticklike figure, I wondered if there existed gyms with an indoor range attached. Clubs have tennis courts, swimming pools, basketball courts, etc. - why not a range?

Thought it would be a neat idea for a business.

Anyone heard of one, or is there a good reason such a thing doesn't exist (insurance, liability, fear that no one would join)?

That place looks pretty hardcore. I'm thinking like any normal family gym, just with a shooting range.

Dakotah! Sport and Fitness, connected to the Mystic Lake Casino run by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux here in Minnesota, has a pistol range. I haven't been there but I hear it's a nice one.

I am sure that YMMV but from what I have seen inside my local ranges fitness is not a high priority. :neener:

I do have a business idea of combining a shooting range with a bakery though...

My thoughts exactly. Going by what I see at gun shows and ranges, I think combining an indoor range with an International House of Pancakes might be a more successful business model.

Here in SC we have a pawn shop (Dewey's) that has a single wide trailor as a 2 lane air conditioned indoor range in their back parking lot. I actually think this thing was built and sold as a range, since it is fairly substantial, but a single wide at a pawn shop is far more appropriate for us rednecks then a Health and Tennis club. :)

The Orem, UT community center has a range (along with all the normal rec center facilities).

The government employee's "Recreation Association" centre here in Ottawa has a 25-metre indoor range attached to it (right underneath the health club), and it seems to work just fine.

There's one in Whitehall PA, walk in the lobby, gym to one side (The Fitness Line), range (The Firing Line) to the other.
