From what I've heard in terms of Korean 30.06 is that if it's on Garand clips, it's corrosive, but if it comes in a case and has a PS headstamp, it's A-Okay.

Korean Arms = KA headstamp so, yes it will be corrosive according to most all reports I have read. You can get some more information at this site:
http://www.100megsfree4.com/airground/ammo/ammo.htm Go down the list and click on "Korean".

Of course you could shoot it and use some Windex with Ammonia to clean the bore, receiver and bolt face immediately after shooting. Just spray everything down and wipe dry. Follow up later with a normal cleaning procedure.

The best deal going is the Lake City Arsenal surplus ammo from the CMP. 960 rounds delivered for $230. It's USGI non-corrosive and works fine.

Thanks to all who answered. I thought that the ammunition might be corrosive.

I'm familiar with the "Windex" cleaning after shooting corrosive ammunition, but am afraid that I might not clean thoroughly enough right after shooting, and might not be able to clean my rifle until a day or two after shooting. I'll purchase the other ammunition from Aim Surplus.

    Thanks again,

KA headstamped ammo is corrosive, PS stamped ammo is not. The KA ammo is actually very accurate, and if you don't mind cleaning your rifle thoroughly after shooting, it is a bargain.
