Well, I ended up getting one just to try it out. Got it home and mounted and it's kind of awkward mounted on the gun. It's basically a tube that clamps on your scope and a bracket that holds you iPhone. The bracket positions your phone so that the camera lens is looking through your scope. But because the camera is all the way on one end of the phone, the mount puts your phone off to the side of the scope.
Second thing is that my scopes are mounted for the eye relief on the scope. Once you mount the adapter and put your phone on it, it's too close to your face to see. I think it would work a lot better if the scope was mounted completely forward as far as possible. I think you'd really need a dedicated scope setup to use the adapter with continued success since the eye relief would be too far forward to use the scope alone.
But it's a good first attempt at a product to film your hunts by yourself without an expensive camera. I'm going to give it a try this weekend on some hogs.
