Here's a look at my finished product. Base gun was a Glock 19 2nd Generation Police trade in that I found at the local gunshow.
I'll go into the detail of how to do it if folks are interested.

Yep,
It was your basic Soldering Iron Assault. It might not be the most appealing astheticly, but it is grippy as all get out. After washing my truck, I decided to see how grippy this was. With hands that had been in and out of soapy/greasy water for over an hour, It was absolutely slip free and felt as if it was welded to my hand.
After originally doing the stippling it was a bit too grippy, bordering on harsh. I gave it a few passes with some 220grit wet/dry and that took care of that.
Now I just need a day this week to get out to the range.
