He loves cops.
Somebody's got to...

Seriously, I think at this point we need to seriously consider moving the shoot to Winchester. Gibson's is going to be seriously muddy, even if it stops raining before then.

GeeGee, Gibson's has covered firing lines, it's the field conditions we're worried about. I'm pretty sure CCGR is going to have the same issues.

Techbrute.....what are you made of sugar? A little mud won't hurt you're soft sensabilities will it?

Oh wait I forgot, you shoot 1911's and AR's. You should avoid mud, rain, sand, strong wind, dirty ammo, shooting more than 5 rounds without cleaning...etc. All those malfunctions you know. :neener:

Hehehehe.....or ya'll could just be cool like me and go shooting at Winchester Gallery this afternoon....say noonish?
I'll be cool like you for a couple of hours. :) PM on the way.

Not looking so good now. Even if it stops by Sunday, Gibson's gets a little muddy ...
Hey, I did Gunstock in '04. Anybody that made that event ain't skeered of a little mud!

I think you mean Mudstock '03, not '04. I was there, too... :D

Personally, I'll be there rain or shine, regardless of the location. I'm just trying to get the best turnout.

The forecast looks crappy. The rain I am sure has already soaked Gibsons up, so I say lets get firm on the fact that The Shooting Gallery will be our place to go. See ya there around 10:00.

I will be the guy that can't wait to shoot his AR!

Well at Win Gal I promise your groups will be nice and tight from the AR, it's only 25 yards out there on the rifle range.

I'll have the BAR, but since the sights are zeroed for 300yds, God knows where it will shoot at 25 yds :)

Guess I will have to dig into the handgun drawer too. Be a good time to practice with my CCW I suppose. Been a month or 2 since I had that thing out of the leather.

Can you shoot at someone else's lane at Win Gal? Or any indoor range for that matter? The reason I ask is that this week I DLed and printed some targets with billiard balls on em and we had a really good time shooting pool. One person shoots either a solid or stripe, then shoots those till he missed and then its the other person's turn. Shoot all of yours and go for the 8 ball. I wonder if you could play this game in an indoor gallery. I'd hate to just do it without saying anything and get caught.

Typically, they let us use the whole (secondary) range building all to ourselves. This allows us to move around a little bit. They are nice folks and we do a good job of making sure everyone is safe. I say, lets see, sounds like fun.

They have never bothered us about anything there, we always have a lot of lane and gun swapping going on. Like Steve said we generally have the overflow range to ourselves so as long as we keep it safe we should be fine.

Well, I got em at Targetz.com if ya want some. They have racked ones and broken up ones. We had fun with both. We were shooting 4 in. autos. I got out a 6" Python and after one game we decided that was cheating. :D

Seems like it. That's when and where I will be. Guess the rifles have to go back in the case until another time. Sounds like a .44Mag and 10MM day!

Ok, it's definiately at Shooting Gallery at the corner of Lancaster and 820, 10AM. Email me for directions if you don't know where it is.

They do have a rudimentary 35 yard range for rifles, 2 bays. I will be bringing a couple ARs, and I'm sure you couldn't get Steve to show up without his AR unless you threatened his life... and maybe not even then...

Techbrute,

Even a threat on my life wouldnt keep me from bringing my AR. Its coming, or I am not, lol.

See everyone there and I really hope to see some new faces this trip, along with our usual group. I plan to start in the rifle range so I can make a feeble attempt of sighting in my AR (as best as possibly on that short range) and I will certainly move to the pistol range also. I have to try out my new Kel-Tec over there, so look out little mice, here I come.

Well I will bring the BAR also, even though it will not be too fun on 25yds.

As for 10MM, I have a Dan Wesson Razorback Limited Edition, eats lots of Blazer.

It was good meeting the new guys and good to see everyone else again. Correct me if I'm wrong though, normally during the winter it's supposed to be warmer inside than it is outside lol :uhoh:
