Clearly the answer was a bomb-free zone. We wouldn't even be having this discussion were that common sense element in place. You know it is true.

What's the form number to register my pressure cooker? Does it need to be signed by my CLEO, or just a chef?

Which is silly. A normal pressure cooker only allows the pressure to build up to 2 atmospheres. Adding 15 psi to your explosive device would make no noticeable difference.

I knew this was coming. The sad thing is, the explosion in West is not seeing as much attention as the bombings in Boston. You know why? It's a small Texas community instead of a largely populated urban area.

I'm pretty sure the 2 atmospheres is only with the safety valve intact. I would assume they'd take care of that prior

Without the popoff valve I doubt they hold more than 150 psi. It's more of a way to make a pipe bomb for terrorists too unskilled to cut and thread a pipe.

I guess their love of Obama makes these Media outlets very hateful if you are not following the socialist liberal Obama way of thinking

What if they had several low capacity pressure cookers? They could still feed a lot of people in a short time. I think the technique is called a New York Second Helping.

You can have a high capacity pressure cooker but you can only cook for 7 people.

It's pretty easy to follow the purchase of anything in this day and age. You have to use a credit card or cashiers check to buy anything online. Brick and mortar vendors would remember the one guy that bought a bunch of gunpowder with cash. Not to mention their security cameras would have video of the sale.

According to al queda, the pressure cooker lets the pressure build up to maximize the explosive force.
Which is silly. A normal pressure cooker only allows the pressure to build up to 2 atmospheres. Adding 15 psi to your explosive device would make no noticeable difference.

Do not confuse design limits with rupture limits.

Itis desifn\ged to safely operate at 15 PSI.

The ability to contain a fast rising pressure wave from black or smokeless powder that cannot be vented through the small safety most have is very different.

It still did not contain the pressure very long to go very high order, notice the huge orange flash off unconsumed powder that occurred.

Watch some real high order things and you may notice a regular TV camera (or an old film camera) often never capture any flash, just the sudden appearance of dust and debris from the detonation.

The flash is way to short.

Think of the nice white flash on the 4th from large fireworks.
    THAT black went high order.

Like I said it's for terrorists who lack the ability to cut and thread a pipe. It even has premade holes for your fusing.

No wonder MSNBC is just ahead of the pathetic CNN in terms of ratings. Most Americans see these loons for who they really are. Truly, what a remarkable statement of moonbattery.

We've strayed off into bombs and pressure cookers. Enough on that.
