With Cav Arms, Kel-tec and EAA, besides others, making guns in different colors, I don't think that relying on the blue/red coding would be wise.

IIRC one or more of the mods over on AR15.com has an AR with furniture like Dewalt/Milwaukee power tools. I can't find the link to the photos at this time, but it exists out there in the Ether somewhere.

It might be fun to have a non-trad color rifle. Maybe on my next one....

Back in ' 09 ...

Couple of brothers I competed against were from OK. Great guys and real evident that had some Native American Indian blood. Thier Competiton guns were painted with thier tribal theme.

Kinda funny to see a new shooter's reaction to these two ...especially if they decided to add a bit of face paint....
