Yeah, it may look cute, but it's still an eeeeeeevil assault weapon. Just look at that pistol grip, not to mention the highcapacityspraytheshoolyard magazine. Clearly, it's the GUN LOBBY'S (TM) attempt to lure younger and younger children. The equivalent of BIG TOBACCO'S (TM) Joe Camel.

Yer not foolin' me...........

Ok, it's just a civil fine... (orange and green, by the way)

CA Penal Code

12020.3. Any person who, for commercial purposes, purchases, sells,
manufacturers, ships, transports, distributes, or receives a
firearm, where the coloration of the entire exterior surface of the
firearm is bright orange or bright green, either singly, in
combination, or as the predominant color in combination with other
colors in any pattern, is liable for a civil fine in an action
brought by the city attorney of the city or the district attorney for
the county of not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000).

IIRC one or more of the mods over on AR15.com has an AR with furniture like Dewalt/Milwaukee power tools. I can't find the link to the photos at this time, but it exists out there in the Ether somewhere.

It might be fun to have a non-trad color rifle. Maybe on my next one....

Regards,
Rabbit.

Dear god! The gen-x, baby buster Tiffany Teens have transposed their psychodelic cell-phone fantasies on our guns. If I EVER own a gun with loud colors, please feel free to shoot me.

What the heck happened to hand-rubbed Turkish Walnut?:what: :banghead: :barf:

I... kinda hate to admit it... but the DeWalt AR-15 has a little bit of appeal. :uhoh: :scrutiny:

Maybe if we didn't live in a world where so many people were frightened of mere tools...

Thanks for coming through with the photos.

Now, after seeing those, my wife wants a blaze orange AR for hunting on Type II land. You're starting to cost me money now, so feel free to not be helpful anymore.

;)

Regards,
Rabbit.

I like the hunter orange color. Leave off the daisies. :D

They say it is red on their website, don't give a price. Hmmm.

When my wife told me she wanted an AR I showed her the Cav Arms stuff, thinking she may want a colored rifle. Her reply? "No thanks. Basic black goes with everything."

Back in ' 09 ...

Couple of brothers I competed against were from OK. Great guys and real evident that had some Native American Indian blood. Thier Competiton guns were painted with thier tribal theme. :D

Kinda funny to see a new shooter's reaction to these two ...especially if they decided to add a bit of face paint....

:p
