Well, I have 3 daughters.
My oldest (almost 11) got a regular walnut-stocked chipmunk at age 7, but her passion is her Ruger 77 youth model in brushed stainless and the silver/gray laminate stock in .260 Rem, in part, because it's purty!
My middle daughter turned 7 last year, and damn near did cartwheels when she opened her Barbie/hot-pink chipmunk .22.
My 3 year old just wants her own!
I have an open invitation from my wife (who happens to have pink framed Kel-tec), at every gun show I go to, to purchase any pink gun for the girls.
Since our future is held in our children's hands, I'm kinda puzzled by all of the revulsion over the colors of the guns. Anything that gets my wife & daughters, or anyone's spouse & kids for that matter, fired up to be more interested in shooting/hunting/firearms etc. seems to me to be a pretty good thing.
I can guarantee you that when my family sees those available colors, my oldest will want the blue one, my middle one will want the pink one, my youngest will want the purple one, my wife will probably like the yellow one, and I'll be looking to by an AR or two to dress up. So, these bright colors are wrong because....................well, why are they wrong again?
