I'm looking for the manual for an Iver Johnson tp22.

I inherited one recently and it hasn't been maintained for quite some time.

Anyone know how to at least field strip one of these?

I've been searching but coming up empty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Michael

The I-J TP-22 dissembles for cleaning just like a Walther PPK or TPH.

    1. Remove magazine
    2. Pull front of trigger guard down and hold
    3. Pull the slide all the way to the rear and lift rear of slide up.
    4. When it comes free of frame, ease it forward off the end of the barrel.
    5. The recoil spring is around the barrel.

I would not recommend further dissembly other then taking the grips off and clean & oil what you can get too.
