J Frame Carry

Appendix carry is not for everyone. The hammer is not a problem if you stay in shape and keep your stomach relatively flat. I find N-Frames with short barrels to be just fine in the appendix position. A J-Frame carries like it's not there. I found the sharp hammer spur on the Ruger SP101 to be more of a problem--it cut holes in my shirts. Holsters do make a difference and the one shown is not very comfortable. The body side needs another layer of kydex to flatten how it feels.

Let me add that the StaysPut holster by Concealment Sepcialties also works in the front pocket. I like that it allows me to index my trigger finger down the barrel as my fingers curl around the grip. In other words, the revolver comes out of the pocket in perfect "ready position."
