j frame (equivalent) pocket holster suggestions

I got tired of waiting for my gun monger to get a Ruger LCP in, and told him to get me a Taurus 605. In stock, should be here Wednesday.

What's a good pocket holster for this thing?

I endorse the Mika pocket holster. Not much to look at, but 100% functional and he is a nice guy to deal with.

Another Mika's fan here...good price, great quality!
I've had mine for about 2 years. I carry a little Taurus snubby in it. This is a daily carry holster.
The holster is showing signs of wear, but it's still got a couple of years in it before I have to replace it.

I carry a S&W 340 M&P, everyday in my Mika holster.

It works very well.

In this thread, and a similar one (not started by me) at defensive carry.com, I see more recommendations for the Mika, than anything else. I intend to make the gunshop/Gander Mtn. circuit next weekend. If I don't see anything good there, I'll likely order the Mika.

So I heard. The only thing I saw on my gunshop circuit was an Uncle Mike's fabric IWB, which will do in a pinch while I look around.

I will second the Nemesis recomendation, it stays in your pocket while drawing like it's glued there. I use one for a Taurus 5rd 357.

Mika Holsters is worth the wait

In the first part of May I had ordered my Mika holster for my new 642. A good friend of mine who has holsters for the 642. They include Mikia, Bianchi and the Nemesis. He loaned me the Bianchi and Nemesis. Based on the use of the two I prefer Bianchi. Of the three Mika is by far the best and look forward to getting mine.On that note it takes time to get the holster as they are custom. I understand that he has someone helping him and that he is chief of Police of a small town and he was unable to get to making holsters as the town he serves was flooded and lost about a weeks worth of time on the holsters. In my opinion they well worth the wait and will make do for now.

Mika holster update

I received my holster today from Mika. It is by far the best I have ever used I ordered one for the 642 and G27. They are well worth the wait. He IS BACKLOGED a little bit because of flooding of the town were he is cheif and on top of that his wife came down with lymes disease. This occupied his time as she fought back from this disease and lost time due to it. On that note, they are well worth the wait as they are great holster for the money and you will find none that are superior.
