J&G has C&R Tokarevs

I got an email from them last week listing them. At first I though just the Polish Toks were C&R, but aparently the Romanians are too. I just got my Polish yesterday and it looks very nice, although it doesn't have Polish grips. J&G even called me before shipping to tell me the grips weren't original and to make sure I still wanted it. I'll try and take some pics once I get the cosmoline out of it.

Thanks for the tip. I just ordered a Polish and a Romanian. AIM is still showing the Romanians as requiring a 01 FFL.

i saw that too. both pistols seem to have the safety added. im confused

It does have the safety added. I'm confused too, but from what I've read on the interweb, some vendors are sorting them and selling the ones older than 1957 as C&R. Others don't want to be bothered with sorting them. Who knows if that's the real story. All I know is I had my C&R on file with them and they happily took my money and shipped it to me.

I've been wanting one of these for a while and the Polish one is really nice. I might pick up a Romanian next month if they still have any.
