My friend had a J-25 (the .25 ACP version, IIRC), the front end sheared off and the slide came off the frame. I wish I had a phone with picture capability because I couldn't believe it myself. And that price is insane. I would say $75, 90$ MAX

Have'n had a .22 model go kaboom on me, I wouldn't take a Jennings for free. Buying one for five bills is simply unbelievable. There be a lot of quality .32 Autos for sub-$500, so run, don't walk, run from this "deal."

run far and fast, 500 bucks..? thats crazy talk...
I have a tp 22. and had it for over 25 years,, not much issues, but I paid like 75 bucks new,,, so run fast and far from that 32 for 500 buck,,,there are other nice hand guns out there, my buddie bought a keltec. in 32,,he loves it,,

Actually, the C9 is a Hi-Point product. If you have a Jennings, it's more likely the JA-Nine

You are correct. The Jennings is actually a Jennings-Bryco and is a J-9. I paid less than $100 for it and it has been fine for a safe queen. Then again what isn't fine for a safe queen. I actually like the sights on the gun.

I once destroyed a Jennings 380 in a BBQ grill. Melted the chrome off it and warped/ deformed the cheapo internal parts, distempered the frame and slide. Destroyed the grill in the process, too. Didn't even use thermite.

I consider myself "gifted" with fire. :D :D

A Jennings will make a good trot-line sinker. Or, if you could pick one up for a few dollars and get $50 or so at a buy-back, you could always finance your ammo stash. BUT, $500 for a keeper - NUTZ.:what:

The small caliber Jennings guns aren't nearly as bad as most people will TELL you they are...without actual experience in many cases. The larger caliber guns (380 and 9mm) often do have lifespans measured in hundreds of rounds.

I know for a fact that not too long ago I saw several guys chime in on these forums that they had small caliber Jennings guns that worked fine. Specifically the J22 and J25.

P.T. Barnum said "There is a sucker born every day." If you pay $500 for a Jennings, you ARE that sucker.

I like the looks of the JA-Nine more than those of the C9 Hi-Point; I actually find the Jennings kind of handsome for its price point.
