I love my new striker HK vp9. Now I need another HK. One of the hammer flavors. Thought about the P30 but I can't get the USP 9 out of my head after seeing the movie Collateral (USP 45) years ago. Movies rarely influence me on my purchases but I just found the gun very pleasing to my eye. Then I find out its a tank and has rave reviews. I know its a big gun but it just looks and operates flawlessly imo. Range gun only with a slight chance of carrying it some day. I know they're overbulit and on the large side, but any other gripes over them?
My main question is this. I inquired on ordering an HK USP9 (V1) 709001-A5 today. I believe it came with 2 mags. 15+1. Price: $890.
Then a second one came up. HK USP9 (V1) 709001-A5. Same exact gun but came with 2, 10 round mags. So (10+1). Didn't say anywhere that it was a CA compliant model or anything. Price? $814.
Any HK guys here that can explain this to me? I imagine getting the 10+1 then buying a 15 round mag later on. But why the $75 price jump from two identical guns? Just a fluke? Or are their mags really that spendy.
Thanks.
