Just another day in NYC

I see a lot of comments here that are of no help in your current situation. I have found that bureaucrats love telephones, voice mail etc which they can ignore. The last thing they want to see in their office is you. Go down there, take a lunch and maybe a baby.

You don't know what you're missing by living under oppression. Change the laws if you can and recognize when you cannot. Then MOVE! There are like 40-45 better states to reside in.

From Canada to Florida, a Citizen since April of 2010.

You have your beaches, 1'5 hours away, CCL, gun on belt every day. People are nice. I have a brother in Law in NYC. He and his Wife visit us!

If you want to work, there is work here. At 76, not doing much of that.

You have relatives in NYC? They will come!

Get out of NYC, don't stop in Westchester, start looking in Dutchess county, Sullivan or Ulster. Full stop before Albany county or pass directly through. I live in Westchester and it's "almost" as bad as NYC, not quite as bad but almost. Dutchess isn't too bad, handgun laws aren't as restrictive as Westchester's but still better then NYC, and about an hour and a half commute time, better bet by train though if you have to commute.

Olaf;
You'd have a hard time getting past the security booth and all the way into the building to get to the room where the people who make the decisons are blocked by mumbling women who make Rosie Grier look svelt, pretty, and gentle. And the working folk with the guns and shields are not actually making decisons either and further run interference for the brass.

As for asking all those questions? Almost nothing could get you removed, sent to Belevue Hospital for evaluation, and your license revoked if not your right to keep and bear arms permanently -- they won't tolerate someone "acting out" like that.
