Just Back from the Gunsmith... (M1911 Pics within!)

Had a Cylinder and Slide vintage match trigger pull kit installed with a Nighthawk long match alloy trigger. I also put on the new grips and screws.

She is a thing of beauty, in my opinion

The only thing left to do is to get her cut for Heinie sights and have them installed. Then she's perfect.

BTW: That's not an idiot scratch in the last picture, its a scratch alright, but it occurred in my parts bin, not during takedown.

Nice! I love my Rock Islands, but I like the old rollmark better than the new one. I took this basic GI model and put several WWII Colt parts on it, looks and works great!

Solid look there.

I went for an updated WWI look with the flat MSH, walnut double diamonds and long trigger.
