I put up with MONTHS of waiting for my first gun (which had gone on the fritz) to be returned from a gunsmith (?) ...BUTCHER.
THEN.....went on here bitchin about his service and FINALLY ending up with a bolt that was hard to close and also CAME OUT THE BACK when you pulled it.
THEN....posted pictures of the innards and got the suggestion to email Jim Keenan. Used some of his advice and also delved into the mechanism and SOLVED the problem. Got it working ......PERFECTLY.
So....what do I do? Took it out today, put 45 rounds through it without a hitch, brought it home, oiled the bore, wiped the exterior, put it in a sleeve, and RETIRED it. Way in the back of the safe where I keep the 10-22 and the Win 9422 that I will USE.
But I ....know...... it works, so I'm satisfied.....now.
