Kerry has shotguns to hunt with and an AK-47 on his office wall.
Bush has private firearms and bodyguards with sub-machine guns.
Rosie admitted that her kids bodyguards carry.
Diane Finestye :) carries a PPK.
Joel Schumer had an ear to ear grin in the photo of him firing the evil Tec-9 that he thought nobody but LEO's and soldiers should have access to.
One of the million moms got busted for a weapons violation.
Sara Brady has a concealed carry handgun permit.

I'd like to see this thread become a watchdog storehouse of the two-faced politicians and celebrities and their gun follies.

This is frankly more than just a bit disturbing...

Like a gay guy giving another a fag-bashing or a feminist working at a strip club to further her cause for equality.

These are people who have made it perfectly clear that we are not all equally endowed, nor do we share the same rights.

These are people who do not deserve to have my vote for anything...
If there is 60 million of us, that sure is a lot of votes...
Bush supports and will sign a new AWB.
    Kerry fully supports firearms regulation.

"Mr. Webster, can you define politics?"

    "Yes, of course. A word derived from ancient Greek and Latin;
'Poli' meaning many, and 'tics' which refers to a species of blood sucking parasites."

"Of all the habits and dispositions which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars!"
    -George Washington's farewell address
He was a gun collector and a huge proponent of personal defense.
The next president should be like-minded.

IIRC, he said that he would support and sign an extension of the existing one, without anything new attached to it.

It ain't so cut and dried. Somebody once explained the phenomena by saying "The best gun control is when you're gun is outlawed and I get to keep mine."

I've done some teaching in the Texas Concealed Handgun program. The bulk of the applicants are middle aged white males employed by private concerns and displaying conservativism. I have also had a fair number of african americans, non-political women, liberals and a few lesbians who were conservative except for supporting hate crimes legislation.

My father has several rifles and pistols. He thinks his guns are good and that other peoples' guns are bad. Since I live near Chicago, and "guns cause crime in Chicago", my guns are bad.

Reminds me that nearly all of the communist leaders were great "shotgunners", especially Erich Honecker and his cronies.

Being a communist is great when you have money. One guy said Hemmingway didn't really turn against them unitl the Castro governement made it hard to get water for his swimming pool.

It's not just shotguns. Breznev visited over here and made it known that he wanted a rifle to hunt boar. GCA 68 made it illegal for him to buy one so, they got Chuck Connors to do a strawman transfer. Doubt that Marx and Engles were shooters, the black powder fumes would disturb the head lice.

You will find Elitists in all walks of life.

The "Do as I Say not as I Do" mentality is nothing new.

There are many Porsche owners who secretly wish that no one else owned one. Most however enjoy the commaradere of other owners.

THere are a few S&W 500 Magnum owners that hope that no one else on the block gets one. That way they will be the only one with the biggest, most powerful.

If you own an O/U shotgun and nothing else. If you only shoot birdies and skeeties.

Steven Spielberg was on the cover of GunGames (an old rag) with a skeetie-tweetie gun. However, he is said to be an anti. Another, however, he is a progunner but has to be anti for business reasons in Hollywood.

So that's my rule - O/U shotgun only - not a RKBA supporter.

No research to back this up - just my own BS today.

    You missed the worst one

Don Perata, the CA assembly member who authored the infamous SB23 (California gun ban) has a CCW for a Beretta pistol. :barf: In his application, he stated he needed the gun to protect himself from vengeful fringe gun owners :barf: :barf: :barf:

Sylvester Stalone is another that owns many guns with a private range, but thinks no one else should be allowed guns.
