Just ordered 500 rounds of 45acp bullets from rocky mountain reloading for 55 dollars 58 with the insurance. It was free shipping. They are hard cast lead bullets round nose type. Has anyone ordered from them before? This will be my first try at reloading so if any advise please tell. I already have like some 800 cases cleaned and primed ready to go. I have HS6 powder from hodgon and a lee turret press I got last year that ill be using to load them. Did I do good on the type of powder and bullets I have? Does the price seem reasonable? I checked several sights online and thats what I decided on with the best price.

Price is in the ballpark. I have never used them personally. Might want to check out Missouri bullet. Great product at a good price if you want lead. I believe THR members also get a discount.

For just a little more than what you paid you can get platted bullets from X-treme.

I have no experience with HS6 powder, but Hodgdon has data on their website for a variety of 45acp bullet weights, so you should be fine as far as safety if you do your part. Others can comment on how good it is for your application. Good luck with it.
