K-frame forcing cone: Cost to fix?

If someone managed to crack the forcing cone on a K-frame smith by shooting a lot of 110/125gr Magnum loads, about how much would it cost to get it fixed?

Point being as long as the repair bill is not several times the cost of the gun I wouldn't worry about it.

That would require a new barrel to be fitted - certainly less than $200 from S&W, inc s&h. Of course... if they have the barrel!

Call S & W and give them the model and serial no. They can give you a ball park price. Just curious, how many magnum rounds have been thru this gun?

There are no more Model 19 barrels and others are getting short supply because S&W is not making any more particularly blue steel.
