    I like Winchester T 147gr RA9T

Federal HST is good too and you can get the HST is a +P loading - same bullet just more powder.

I run ranger ra9t in my PM9. They loose less velocity than 124s do out of the short barrel.

BTW 147gr Speer Lawman simulates the recoil impulse of the premium 147 HD rounds.

If you want to train with the same recoil characteristics but don't want to pay $25+ per box of ammo.

I have the PM9 instead of the CM and have run a variety of self defense loads through it such as Hornady Critical Defense 115 gr.,Winchester PDX 124 gr +P,Gold Dots,Federal HST 147 AND 124 Grain,Winchester Bonded 147 gr. and all have functioned in the pistol without fault.
I dont prefer the +P rounds because of the snap and I really like the standard pressure 147 grain rounds.
Try both and see for yourself the difference in feel.
But the + P's wont hurt your Kahr.

According to Kahr, +P is not a problem and my CM9 is loaded with Winchester PDX 124 gr +P ammo for self defense. I can slingshot load these fast or slow with no problem.

When I carried my PM9, it was with 127 gr Ranger +p+. I put "some" through it to make sure it would function, and carried it with that ammo. And shot a mag full at the range once per month for 3 1/2 years.

It is still loaded with that ammo, and ready to go if need be.

I like the Federal 147s in mine. Good recoil behavior.
