Went to the gun shop today and ordered a PM9 with night sights. Should have it in a few weeks. I would like recommendations for a pocket holster and also a IWB. I appreciate a good holster, so let's not look at the cheap ones. Thanks.

Man, I feel like a broken record, but...

www.threatsolutions.com

The UCR is on my hip right now. It's thin, light weight, has a solid amount of retention, conceals beautifully, works with all K and P series Kahr pistols, and it's affordable. It's completely forgettable with such a small, light gun.

I carry my P9 Covert (same grip as the PM9) in either a High Noon Hidden Impact or the Hidden Ally. Both are tuckables though you don't need to use that feature. Both have plenty of rentention for me and the gun is snug, but comes out very smoothly as long as a belt is being worn. The only difference is with the Hidden Impact, reholstering one handed is easy. Nice feature esp when you are first starting to carry and are wanting to practice your draw, but it only comes in tan. The Hidden Ally only comes in black and for daily wear is just as good. More of my clothes match the black than the tan so in case I should ever slightly flash someone, the black blends in better. I basically tend to wear the Ally when I'm not wearing a shirt tucked in.

For IWB I also like the Threat Solutions UCR, but I also like holters by Brommeland .

My PM9 usually rides in a cheap Uncle Mike's pocket holster when it's in my pocket. It's cheap but works really well.

For IWB check out the Don Hume H715M over at www.gunnersalley.com. I don't know if they make one specifically for the PM9 but I bought one for my K9 and my PM9 fits like a glove. The holster is just about 1/4 inch long for the PM9 (doesn't matter one bit IMO). I've never ventured into pocket carry with my PM, so I can't give any recommendations, but Kahr has a good looking pocket holster for these guns and it's a good price (I doubt it would be as nicely executed as Hedley's holsters are, though). I have a Kramer pocket holster that I used for my Tomcat for several years and I like it very much. It is expensive (I believe it is in the $80's), but it has several unique features and they do make it for the Kahr MK/PM series.

Thank you all for the advice. For pocket carry I ordered the FIST K5. I usually am not a big fan of Kydex, but as this will be for pocket carry the Kydex won't hold the mosture that the leather will and it is very thin. However, the main reason I selected this one is the thumb release tab that releases the gun from the holster.

cratz2, I agree on the high noon. I traded in a Sig 232 on the Kahr PM9 and had a hidden impact and a mister softy for it. They went with the trade. I think I will wait on the IWB as I plan to carry the PM9 in the pocket and might go with my Glock 19 for IWB. Will wait and figure this out before I buy another holster.

Again, thanks to all.

By far the Mitch Rosen Clipper is far and above the most comfortable IWB made for my PM9. I would recommend this holster without any hesitation. You won't even know it's there. By the way, Shaka Bra. Hickam, 6594 th Test Group, 74-82 :D .

Thanks Rogomay. I like the design where holster covers the top of the slide from contact with your body. However, the drop down menu on Kahr's site does not list the PM9 as a choice?

PM9 HOLSTER

I hope the pocket holster Kahr sells for $55 is good,I saw a pm9 at local gunshop today, paid $559 plus tax and went to the firing range.I fired 86 rounds without a hitch(was in a crunch for time) came home and ordered a pocket holster from Kahr Shop.com(ambidextrous pocket holster).I have a similar one for my old friend seecamp 32 but I am amazed by how smooth my new friend is.Really slick.Fired 80 rounds of Fiocchi 117 gr fmj picked up for cheap price and 6 rounds of what I plan to carry -90 gr cor-bon hp at real fast velocity(maybe not 1500 as box says but probably close).Damn fine pistol, and I am old school -696 smith at bedside and model 13 3 inch round butt as car gun.I have a couple of nice sigs and this and that but I can shoot this Kahr better than any of my j frame smiths or d frame colts and ???? I might as well sell my Glock 26.What's it good for now?Let me know if you try any leather for your new addition.
