neato!! Does it still make enough difference to the grip length? Enough to feel? Looks totally stock though...

Unless you have really small hands, you’re still going to have to wrap your pinky finger (it’s no longer a pinky finger rest) under... this Pearce modified floor plate is only twice as thick as the OEM stainless colored floor (flush fitting) plate is/was.

I did this more for a looks thing... although it does feel a little more comfortable, then the OEM one, wrapping your pinky finger around it. I rounded it a little instead of just making it flat across.

This floor plate could actually be made a bit thinner... that is just where I stopped grinding/filing/sanding on it.

Something I thought easy and neat. Order a K9 eight round magazine from Kahr, ($39.50) swap the base plate from the K9 mag onto the PM9 mag, it gives just a slight bit more grip surface and looks good too. Put the PM9 base plate on the K9 mag and use it as an eight round range mag.

Gunmeister, maybe the base plate on Kahr’s 8-round K9 mag is different from the base plate on Kahr’s 7-round K9 mag?

I question because the base plate from my 7-round K9 mag won’t allow my 6-round PM9 mag to lock into the PM9. It would be an easy fix, but it won’t work without some material removing from the top of the base plate.

Yep, I did have to sand it down a little, I thought it was because I used an old K40 base plate. You may not like the results, I have small hands and I can get a little bit of small finger on it but my son who is a bit bigger than me thought it made the grip worse. Give it some thought before you do this, but It worked for me.
