Does anyone know if the problem's with the polymer framed (not the PM9 though) kahr's have been taken care of? I think I read somewhere that there were some problem's with them when they first came out.

See my range report on the PM9 a little further down.
100% reliable out of the box. Did not like older mags though. Front sight was loose which i fixed easy. I would like the accuracy to improve a bit, but the functioning is more important to me. I noted several improvements over my early P9. (never had problems with it)
I am convinced there are no significant bugs in the P series guns.

I've had a PM9 maybe 5 months.
No problems at all with nearly 300rds through it.
A late model gun will probably have the bugs taken care of.

According to it's serial number, I had a "latest version" P40. I absolutely loved that pistol, and it was flawless for over 500 rounds... Then it started having the same kind of issues that got it's defective half-brother the P9 swapped at Kahr in the first place.

I won't own another... But I wouldn't hesitate to suggest a K40.

I haven't heard of any recent problems. It seems Kahr has fixed the bugs.

I also recently got a PM9 that has been excellent.

Well, I looked a little closer at my old mags and noticed one was a 40 caliber one, which was the one that didn't shoot so good. DUH.
Ft sight was secured, but I still get rather large groups compared to the P9.
Very short sight radius probably doesen't help anything. No malfunctions so far other than with the .40 mag. 200 rds fired

I just picked up a PM9 the other day. I have only put 240 rounds through it thus far but no malfunctions at all. It is really nice, I hope that Kahr has worked out all the bugs. I'll keep you posted...gonna put a few more hundred rounds through it on Saturday.
