    If we can blow the Journal World's liberal base out of the water we can make a statement.

    I hit it once from each computer in the house and my PDA, so that makes 6 votes.

    I chose;

    No. People need to have the option of carrying a handgun for self-protection.

    Early & often. Last I heard, Sebelius hadn't actually done the veto yet.

    It was very much not going the way they wanted. Anybody heard anything out of Sebelius today?

    Nothing from her yet. Our local news is unlikely to say anything anyway.

    It's down towards the bottom. Essentially nobody has voted in the poll, if we hit it it could get lopsided in a hurry :evil: .

    Thanks for your vote. Here are the poll results so far:

    Gov. Kathleen Sebelius plans to veto a bill that would allow Kansans to carry concealed weapons. Do you agree with her?

    Yes. I agree with the governor that only retired law enforcement officers should be allowed to carry concealed handguns. 12% 77 votes
    Yes. Allowing people to carry concealed handguns will lead to more shooting deaths in Kansas. 25% 153 votes
    No. People need to have the option of carrying a handgun for self-protection. 33% 209 votes
    No. Concealed carry will cut down on the number of violent crimes. 28% 177 votes
    Undecided. 1% 8 votes
    624 total votes
